Amber Lauricee Whitley, MD
Overview
Dr. Amber Whitley recieved her undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology at North Carolina State University. She attended medical school at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at NYU in Manhattan, then joined the Columbia University Center Hospitalist faculty in 2025. Dr. Whitley's academic interests include medical education and mentorship. She enjoys teaching residents as she developed and implemented OSCEs and SIMs during her chief year. She also enjoys mentoring students and providing support as they pursue a career in medicine.
