The Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program promotes training of physicians in clinical research to facilitate development of biomedical advances in New York State. This grant has been awarded specifically for leveraging health IT to identify and prevent patient safety hazards.

The Rustin McIntosh Fellowship honors a pediatric postgraduate fellow who best exemplifies the attributes of Dr. McIntosh during his tenure: a “spirit of doubt and need for inquiry” that led to breakthroughs in the treatments of many childhood diseases.
